| On its' way south through Carlisle on the morning of 25th August 2005, a Sentinel DF4 steam lorry, painted in the colours of Lloyd Jones Brothers of Llanfair D.C., Ruthin, is caught travelling to a steam gathering in Lazonby. The vertical boilered coal-fired lorry made good, if smoky, progress through the city via Warwick Road, Eastern Way and London Road - bypassing the tight corners in the city centre. The vehicle is fitted out for tar spraying. |
