Although passenger services end at Tamsweg station, the line continues across an open level crossing, to a kick-back siding on the outskirts of the town, serving the Murau brewery. Beyond here is St. Andra, the terminus of the Taurachbahn, the privatlt-owned section of the line onward to the ultimate destination at Mautendorf.
